Between May 2019 and May 2020 Marcito got involved in a very special album project! The well known latin singer MV Caldera (New York) and producer Ruben Marcano Perez (Guaco), both Venezuelans, asked him to arrange and play all the drums and percussion for MV Calderas new album "reencuentro".

It speaks for itself, if two established Latinos ask the German guy to compose the latin rhythms of their album. Release was on May 16!
This cd is full of love, respect and friendship!

During the Covid19 pandemic everything got on hold but Marcito has used this time to build a professional project studio together with his friend Manni Richter. With three recording rooms and the regie room there are many possibilities for recording (even live recording with a whole band), mixing and mastering.

In January 2023 Marcito was asked by great Italian guitar player Simone Dino Bet to join the production of the debut EP of his band "Wandermaler". A week later it was recorded in only two days and published in June.

In September the band recorded the first half of the upcoming album, this time Markus was double booked as the drummer and recording engineer in his Westfalen Studios. The second half will be recorded in January '24, but release of the first single was already on November 10.

In November '23 Macito and his long time friend and Swiss Guitar player Markus Moser decided to form a new jazz trio. Both played together for 7 years, toured through Europe and Asia and recorded four albums. Eveything ended with the pandemic.

But now they are back, composing new songs and looking forward to record a new album in summer of '24.

More to come soon....
